Rejected to work under Sheikh Rasheed: Railways
LAHORE: A senior officer of Pakistan Railways has declined to work under Sheik Rasheed Ahmad, the new Railway Minister responsible for the division, pronouncing him "nonprofessional and rude."
Chief Commercial Manager, Muhammad Hanif Gul, a BS-20 officer, on Sunday asked for the railroads administrator to allow him two-year leave with full pay.
"With due regard, it is presented that the disposition of the new Minister is to a great degree nonprofessional and rude. As a good individual from the Civil Services of Pakistan, it isn't feasible for me to work under him. The minister is completely qualified for work with a group that offers his vision," peruses the letter routed to the railroads administrator. The officer looks for 730-day take off.
A senior officer of Pakistan Railways disclosed that amid a gathering at the PR home office in Lahore on Saturday, the minister reproved Ashfaq Khattak, the head of railroads group directing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) ventures.
